What we bring and what you get
One of the biggest headaches with live music is working out what needs to be arranged separately (believe us when we say…we know).
With Snax.band, the answer is: not much.
We bring what we need to perform:
- instruments, including drum kit, keyboard and amplifiers
- microphones, clip mics
- full sound system, including mixing desk and front-of-house speakers
- stage lighting
- cabling
- a full 9-piece live band setup
You don’t need to arrange:
- a separate sound engineer; we take care of all of it
- extra cabling
- a separate band PA
- separate microphones
- a separate lighting setup for the band
All we need:
- a source of power
- access for setup
- space for the band
- space to park a van nearby
- …and space for dancers!
That means fewer moving parts for you, fewer suppliers to coordinate, and one less thing to worry about whilst planning your event!

Every full-band booking includes
- PA equipment for the whole event

- up to 2 new song arrangements, where they’re suitable for the band
The price doesn’t rise neatly hour-by-hour since the biggest cost is getting the band and setup to and from your event in the first place. If you’re booking more than one setup (for example, a smaller jazz setup earlier in the day and the full band later on), we’ll price that as one joined-up booking rather than treating each part as a completely separate event.
The final quote will depend on your venue, location, timings and what setup(s) you want.

We play at private parties, birthdays, celebrations and other live events.
Our repertoire includes jazz, funk, rock, pop, disco and your usual crowd-pleasing classics, arranged by members of the band specifically for our setup of female vocals, horns and rhythm section.
Snax.band also plays weddings, corporate events, and even events such as drinks receptions where we’re available as a smaller jazz band setup for background music.
Yes. We bring our own sound system, microphones, mixing desk, speakers and band lighting.
All we need is a power source and enough space for the band to set up. You won’t need to worry about providing any equipment, cabling, instruments, sound engineers or anything else.
A lot of work (and cabling) goes into making a function band performance happen!
We’ll normally need access to the performance space at least 90 minutes before we start. This gives us enough time to run all the wires where they need to be, set up the drum kit and the sound systems, sound-check and make sure everything’s working as expected.
Packing down is a bit faster; usually, we’ll be clear about an hour after we’ve finished playing.
Yes. During any intermissions—or, after the set finishes—our speakers can be used to put a playlist on.
Great for a break from the high energy. Not so great as the main event!
Yes, we can provide mics for speeches where needed.
Absolutely! We can create bespoke set lists for your event and the kind of mood you’re trying to create.
